Change happens at Art Windsor-Essex
The Art Gallery of Windsor has long been a prominent cultural institution in the region. But they were perceived as elitist and disconnected from younger audiences.
With a new vision to inspire growth through the power of art, we designed a new name and identity that communicated the openness, imagination and daring of the new brand.
With a focus on engaging a younger audience, a fresh and energetic color palette was combined with a human sans-serif font and shapes inspired by conversational sound waves, resulting in a modern and inclusive brand identity. The name change and it’s acronym AWE signaled great change to the community, and was quickly noticed.
