Launching a new product for chronic illness.
Chronic illness is on the rise in Canada, and with a bogged down the medical system, accessible care isn’t readily available. As our client, Shoppers Drug Mart imagined a new product that offers care to people through their employer benefits. Now, all it needed was a name, a look, a design and a working site.
Without any assets other than an idea, the enemy was a blank slate. Could we create a tool that helps? Friends & Enemies got to work building out the digital experience, task flow, brand with copy and custom illustrations. Plus we provided UX support for integration.
Working closely with the SDM team as well as technology partners, we created a user experience that helps people find the care they need. We even included a questionnaire to direct users to the right program.
For the design and tone, we leveraged the Shoppers Drug Mart brand. We extended the colour palette to feel warm. We crafted the voice to be inviting, caring and not clinical.
To add to the warmth, we included moment-based photography and an illustration style that is real, diverse and can speak to anyone no matter where they are on their health journey.
